Family Camping 101

2021 Family Camp is sold out! Stay tuned for 2022…

Feeling a little socially distant?  Looking for a way to get the family out?  Camping is a great way to get out and yet remain socially distant. Join us for our Family Camp Friday October 15th to Sunday October 17th.  This Family Camp is designed for adults and children accompanied by a parent or guardian. You can attend both Friday night and Saturday night or just join us on Saturday.  Your registration covers campsite fees, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.  Park admission is not included in your registration.  You will be responsible for the gate fee upon arrival.  You are welcome to bring your own camping equipment.  If you do not have camping equipment, we can provide you with a tent, sleeping bags, and sleep pads for a small additional fee.  Please double check your dates and make sure you going to attend.  Once you complete your registration and your payment is processed there are no refunds.  We will hold camp rain or shine.

Covid 19 precautions:  We have limited the number of people to no more than 30.  Each family will have space in a campsite with plenty of room to be socially distant.  You will also have the option to take your meals back to the campsite. Masks will be required whenever we are gathering and cannot maintain social distance. Please do not attend if you or anyone in your household has had any of the following Covid-19 symptoms in the last 14 days.  Fever (>100.40), cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, new loss of taste or smell, vomiting or diarrhea, and/or sore throat. You will be asked to sign a screening statement upon arrival.

What’s provided

  • Campsite space
  • Tent, sleeping bags and pads (if needed $6 per person)
  • Camptown camp host.  We can help you with your camping and park questions
  • 3 meals (lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday) – no meals on Friday
  • Campfire cooking program and evening campfire program with s’mores
  • Nature Program, Night Hike
  • Time to explore, hike, visit the nature center and more
  • Lots of fun and great memories
