Youth events that feature indoor rock climbing give kids a chance to move, compete, and challenge themselves. Our private facility provides an environment where groups can interact without the intrusion of other climbers. The CRUX is a safe, clean place where kids can expend energy, hone their climbing skills, and best of all, have fun. They will always remember climbing at The CRUX.
Birthday Parties
Give your child a birthday party that they will never forget at The CRUX. No experience is necessary to begin climbing at our facilities. Our bouldering wall features a total of 30 climbing routes tailored to varying levels of proficiency. This ensures that party-goers of all experience levels will have a great time climbing. Our party room is also available for your use. This versatile room can be set up for your needs. It is the perfect place for your birthday party activities like serving cake and ice cream and opening presents.
Youth Group Events
Kids love to get together and have fun. The CRUX is a great place to do that. Indoor rock climbing at The CRUX provides groups with an opportunity to engage with one another around a fun and physical activity. If your group wants to add a team-building component, one of our trained facilitators can work with you to tailor a program specifically designed for your group. The safe, clean, and private environment is ideal for groups from schools, churches, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, and other youth organizations. You can even rent our facility out overnight for a lock-in.
Our prices for private rentals of The CRUX are listed below. All proceeds from The CRUX go to benefit at-risk youth through Camptown’s Outdoor Adventure programs.
Pricing
Standard 2-Hour Rental – $300
Includes exclusive use of The CRUX climbing room and party room for up to 20 people. Additional guests can be added for $10 each.
Not for Profit 2-Hour Rental – $225*
Includes exclusive use of The CRUX climbing room and party room for up to 20 people. Additional guests can be added for $10 each.
*Must be qualified not for profit and provide IRS letter of determination
Add-Ons (in addition to rental fees)
- Birthday Party Package – Additional $100
You bring the guests. We do the rest! This party package includes decorations, cake, ice cream, and drinks for up to 20 people. Add $2 for each addition guest. - Cosmic Climbing – Additional $25
Add the excitement of cosmic black light to your climbing party. - Facilitated Program – $100 per hour
Add professional staff facilitation to your event. Facilitation could include games, climbing lessons, or team building activities. - Extra Time – $50/hour
Add on extra time for a lock-in or other activities
Note: All attendees (climbers and non-climbers, children and adults) count in the price count. Youth groups and children’s parties require 1 attending adult per 10 youth (this adult does not count in the cost count). All attendees must sign a Rules & Consent Form
